If you have the case halves apart you've either had some serious issues, or you're doing some serious upgrades. Regardless of the reason you should strongly consider upgrading the O.E. crank bearings while you're in there. These are tier 1 premium (SKF) bearings are a great alternative to the O.E. bearing.
